The Powerpuff Girls (Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup) are a trio Fighter from the The Powerpuff GirlsUniverse in MultiVersus. They were revealed on September 10th, 2024, and were released alongside Season 3 on September 17th, 2024.
The Powerpuff Girls are the titular protagonists of the show of the same name. As their show's opening narration states, Professor Utonium was attempting to combine "sugar, spice, and everything nice" to create the perfect little girls. But, with an accidental addition of chemical X, he instead created The Powerpuff Girls, a trio of super-powered kindergarteners. Blossom, the smartest and most responsible of the three, Bubbles, who's optimistic and friendly, and Buttercup, who finds fun in fighting evildoers. They use their powers to save the City of Townsville from a rogue's gallery of adversaries, such as the super-intelligent simian Mojo Jojo and the powerful demon HIM. The girls and their successful TV series went on to receive numerous specials, video games, a reboot in 2016, and a second upcoming reboot.

Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are here to save the day! This high-flying, heavy-hitting, super-powered trio has arrived from Townsville to put all those nasty bad guys in their place. They know that sharing is caring, so they take turns being the leader and putting their own special spin on things.

NEUTRAL J
POWERPUFF KICK! A CHARGED side kick that travels forward.
RING-AROUND-THE-ROSIE! After joining hands, the girls attack as they spin in a circle.
SIDE 🡆 + J
SISTER COMBO! A 3-hit COMBO where each girl throws a punch.
POWERPUFF SLINGSHOT! Grabbing hold of each other in a chain, the girls fling themselves forward.
UP 🡅 + J
POWERPUFF UPPERCUT! A CHARGED upward punch, followed by the backup girls flying up with an additional hit that deals KNOCKBACK.
FLYING UPPERCUT! An upward punch.
DOWN 🡇 + J
HOTLINE PINCER! The Powerpuff Girls CHARGE an attack as the leader hangs up the hotline. One backup girl will fly left as the other flies right, then they will both fly back in.
POWERPUFF STOMP! A stomp that hits downward.

...AND EVERYTHING NICE! Each Powerpuff Girl has a unique attack, depending on the LEADER. Blossom will emit icey breath that applies ICE stacks, Bubbles will shout to STUN enemies, and Buttercup will fire a laser that BREAKS ARMOR.

TACKLE TIME! The topmost girl will fly forward, GRABBING an enemy. Each girl has a unique throw. Blossom will throw the target towards the LEADER, Bubbles will throw the target upward, and Buttercup will throw the target downward.
TACKLE TIME! The topmost girl will fly forward, GRABBING an enemy. The other two girls will then dash to the topmost girl and hit enemies away.
UP 🡅 + K
UP WE GO! An upward flight with unique effects depending on who the leading girl is. Bubbles will fly higher but deal less KNOCKBACK, Buttercup will fly less high but deal more KNOCKBACK, and Blossom is balanced between the two of them.
UP WE GO! Same as ground.
DOWN 🡇 + K
TAG, YOU'RE IT! The Powerpuff Girls will rotate counter-clockwise, changing their LEADER.
SWAPSIES! The backmost girl quickly will quickly swoop into the LEADER position, hitting enemies upward.
PASSIVE ABILITIESSISTER ACT The Powerpuff Girls can swap their LEADER using down special. Different LEADERS apply unique attributes to the trio. Bubbles is fast, but her hits have less KNOCKBACK, Buttercup is slower, but her hits have more KNOCKBACK, and Blossom is balanced between the two of them. Different LEADERS also change the properties of the girls' special moves.
Each individual Powerpuff Girl can appear as a companion in the PvE Rifts Mode if their respective Gem is equipped. If one of the Gems is equipped by The Powerpuff Girls themselves, then their companion counterparts will be replaced by a Rowdyruff Boy.

The official MultiVersus Twitter posted a picture of the Afterlife Variants in the waiting room from Beetlejuice, with three books on a table being the colors of the girls: pink (Blossom), blue (Bubbles), and green (Buttercup).
There are profile icons for all 3 of the girls, Bubbles is available in a Bundle, Buttercup is available via the Naptime is Over! challenges, and Blossom is from Twitch Drops!
