Crisis in Townsville is the fourth and final Rift of Season 2 in MultiVersus. It was released on September 3rd, 2024.
Plot
Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice, both recruited from the Season's previous Rifts, arrive in The City of Townsville. They learn from Detective Elegant Mess and a wounded Banana Guard that crime is running rampant thanks to Mojo Jojo and his Anubial Jewels turning people to dogs. The Fighters eventually escape the city and give chase to Mojo, who has now upgraded to using deceased dogs. Jack and Beetlejuice defeat Mojo Jojo, who swears revenge. Detective Elegant Mess thanks the Fighters, but proposes the use of the Mayor's hotline to call in "some real tough cookies" to take care of Mojo once and for all.
