Mojo Jojo is a non-playable character in MultiVersus.

Origin

Mojo Jojo is the main antagonist of The Powerpuff Girls franchise. He is a villainous, intelligent mad scientist chimpanzee who is constantly plotting to take over the world and/or destroy The Powerpuff Girls. He was originally Professor Utonium's lab assistant, before a certain accident turned him into who he is now.

Role in MultiVersus

AS AN ALLY

In the Chaos Rogue Rift exclusively, Mojo appears as a potential ally. He will follow the player and with his saucer and throw bombs.

AS A BOSS

Mojo appears as the final boss of the Crisis in Townsville Rifts.

His Boss battle from the Crisis in Townsville Rift takes place on a The City of Townsville Map. The Boss fight is nearly identical to the Map hazard, with the exception that Mojo Jojo's ship now has a protective barrier around it. This barrier can only be broken by one of Mojo's bombs. Along with that, a continually respawning Afterlife Reindog will appear and attack after the first few phases.

He is fought a second time in the Naptime is Over! Rift. This battle takes the form of a side-scrolling shoot-em-up type minigame, similar to the "Up, Up, and Away!" Bonus Node where The Powerpuff Girls have to shoot lasers at Mojo while flying on a space themed map. Here, he still uses the moves from his previous fight and stage hazard. He will be accompanied by Robot Drones and ACME Sky Drones. After certain thresholds of health, he will leave the screen and return briefly after.

AS A FIGHTER ANIMATION EXTRA

Mojo appears in The Rowdyruff Boys' entrance animation.

AS A MAP HAZARD

Mojo Jojo appears as a sort of mini-boss for the default variation of The City of Townsville Map. He will appear at both the left and right sides of the Hall and will try to disturb the fight with several attacks, all of which can be used against him:

  • Throwing bouncy bombs that explode after their fuse runs out. These can be picked up by Fighters like Items and thrown at each other or at Mojo to damage him.
  • A giant magnet that pulls all Fighters towards Mojo. If Mojo is hit during this attack, the magnet's polarity will be reversed.
  • The Head of Anubis which turns all Fighters close to its range into "baby" Reindogs. The Head of Anubis can be disarmed with enough damage.
  • A giant laser that deals lethal knockback to any Fighter it touches. The laser's trajectory can be redirected.

After taking enough damage, Mojo will fly his saucer into the left side of the hall, completely destroying it and making the Map's layout smaller. He will later also ram into the right side of the Hall as well, making the Map even smaller.

While active, Fighters can use his saucer as a platform, where they can easily attack him. Even if Hazards are turned off, his saucer will still appear as a platform.
