Trivia
General
- Default Taunts are usually re-used for their base Fighters' lobby, victory, losing, and/or entrance animations.
- Some of the non-Default Taunts are also re-used for other animations, such as Reindog's Tail Wag Taunt which is repurposed for his entrance animation.
- During the Offline Mode hiatus, all Taunts that were released in-game beforehand (with the exception of the ones that were exclusive to the Preseason and Season 1 (Open Beta) Battle Passes prior to the Open Beta's closure) were available for free.
- During Preseason, Taunts were temporarily renamed to Emotes. Their name was reverted back in the Season 1.04 Patch.
- Starting with Season 2 (Open Beta), the term Emotes has been reused as the collective term used for both Taunts and Stickers.
Agent Smith
- Currently, Agent Smith doesn't actually destroy his sunglasses when he drops them on the ground when taunting Shade Stomp, rather, when he steps on them, the shades simply move further into the ground, which normally would look like they were destroyed.
- However, if this Taunt is performed on the edge of a stage, or on a platform, the shades are visible for the entire duration of the Taunt until he gets a "new pair".
- When performing Shade Stomp as Batman 85th Agent Smith, Agent Smith will take off his cowl alongside the sunglasses.
Aquaman
- Aquaman's default taunt is the only one to be specifically called Default Taunt instead of just Default.
Arya Stark
- Yawn was originally listed as Common in the Closed Alpha.
Banana Guard
- Prior to the 1.2.2 update, Banana Guard lacked the maracas featured in Peanut Butter Jelly Time.
Batman
- Utility Belt was originally listed as Common in the Closed Alpha.
Bugs Bunny
- Tap Dance was originally known simply as just Dance in the Open Beta.
- Tease was originally listed as Common in the Closed Alpha.
Garnet
- Tiny Car was originally listed as RARE in the Closed Alpha.
