MultiVersus - Stripe Gameplay Trailer (beginning portion is used before Stripe boss)
Rift Detectives is the second Rift of Season 1 in MultiVersus. It was released alongside the game's Full Launch on May 28th, 2024.
Plot
Following the previous Rift, Batman challenges Velma to see who can track down Stripe first, recover Reindog's Gem, and prove they are the best detective. When the two finally defeat Stripe and his spawns, he laments that he lost the Gem. All he remembers is "Machete". Despite the lack of success, Batman seems to end their challenge in a tie, calling him and Velma "the Multiverse's Best Detectives".

Trivia
- Since Jason Voorhees was disabled due to a game-breaking bug in version 1.05, all rifts that either forced or required him as a playable character were temporarily changed to use The Joker instead. This is the first (and so far only) instance of a node's character being changed after release.
