Trophy's E.D.G.E.
Trophy's E.D.G.E., short for Trophy's Extra Dimensional Gateway Environment, is an original available Map in MultiVersus. It was revealed alongside the game itself on November 18th, 2021. It has 7 variations.
Origin
While Trophy's E.D.G.E. is an original Map made for MultiVersus, various cameos, referred to as "Trophies" inside the game's files, spawning from the franchises represented in the game can be found in their background:
- A statue of Wonder Woman from Themyscira and Brainiac's Bottled City of Kandor (DC).
- A giant warhorn (Game of Thrones).
- A giant ACME crate full of fireworks (Looney Tunes).
Additionally, a Green Lantern Power Battery from DC has also been spotted on this Map in the cinematic "You're With Me!" trailer,[1] as well as on the concept art for an unused variation of Trophy's E.D.G.E. from Jose Vega's ArtStation,[2] implying that the Power Battery was originally going to appear as a Trophy. The aforementioned concept art also depicts a Chinese kite flying in the background of the Map, possibly referencing Sam Wing and the mogwai's Chinese origins from the Gremlins universe.
Layout
Trophy's E.D.G.E. (2v2)
This Map consists mainly of a giant body with two small platforms that appear at the end of both sides of the Map, moving from left to right and vice-versa.
Trophy's E.D.G.E. (1v1)
Same as the previous map, but smaller.
Trophy's E.D.G.E. 2 (2v2)
The giant body regular Trophy's E.D.G.E. had is replaced by two small bodies with a gap in-between them. The two moving platforms still appear at the left side of the first body and at the right side of the second body.
Trophy's E.D.G.E. 2 (1v1)
Same as the previous map, but smaller.
Trophy's E.D.G.E. 3
Same as the default Map, but the two small platforms are replaced with one large platform that moves back and forth to both sides of the Map continuously.
Trophy's E.D.G.E. (No Floor)
The giant body is not present, leaving only the two small, moving platforms.
Bamboo's E.D.G.E.
Similar to the default Map, however the main platforms is much larger and there are no small platforms. In the middle and ends of the Map, that will give Fighters INVISIBILITY when stood behind. These stalks can be cut down with any attack, but will regrow after a while.

Trivia
- A video posted on May 6th, 2022, titled PFGDemoReel reveals that the Palantír depicting the Eye of Sauron from The Lord of the Rings was meant to appear on these maps as a cameo trophy.
- In the Open Beta, Trophy's E.D.G.E. and Trophy's E.D.G.E. 2 weren't listed with "(2v2)" in their names on the Map selection screen.
- When this Map was first revealed, a lot of people believed it to be Themyscira, Wonder Woman's native place from the DC universe, thanks to the giant Wonder Woman statue and war horn in the background, as well as the fact that the map's landscape greatly resembled that of Themyscira's. This theory was soon debunked when a screenshot from the official website revealed the map's name to be Trophy's E.D.G.E..
- Funnily enough, a Themyscira-based Banner was later revealed in the Closed Alpha.
- Marvin the Martian's spaceship and the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo, both vehicles that make cameos on The Court Maps (with the latter also appearing on the Water Tower Map), have been depicted on Trophy's E.D.G.E. in the cinematic "You're With Me!" trailer.
- Trophy's E.D.G.E. has also been referred to as Trophy Room inside the game's code and on Jose Vega's ArtStation.
- In Season 1, the design of the tower seen in the very back of these Maps was heavily altered, and it was altered again in Season 2 (Open Beta). In the Full Launch, the tower's design was brought back to its Preseason look.[3]
- In the MultiVersus x NHL Face-Off presentation, Hockey Island featured the big flying structures from Trophy E.D.G.E.'s scrapped variation in its background.
- Bamboo's E.D.G.E. was originally known as Bamboo Boogie in Rifts prior to becoming a selectable Map.
