The Megalodog

The Megalodog is the sixth Rift of Season 1 in MultiVersus. It was released on July 2nd, 2024.

Plot

Set in the same beach rift the previous rift, the Fighters investigate a group of Shark-Hat wearing variants who are mad about the team's beach party. These cultists all sport shark-based names based on the character they are (such as Tazmanian Devil-Shark). Throughout their undercover investigation, they hear of a "Mighty Shark" who acts as the group's leader and subject of worship: the Megalo-Dog. Once they subdue the big shark, the Megalo-Dog admits that he assumed the intruders were involved with "the rain of green numbers".
