Techno Terror

Techno Terror is the fourth Rift of Season 1 in MultiVersus. It was released on June 10th, 2024.

Plot

Banana Guard enters a Rift with Toasty, ignoring a warning from Kung Food Shaggy. Toasty is then captured by Mad Love Harley Quinn, claiming "the computer's gonna love him". Overtime, it becomes apparent that the enemies Banana Guard is fighting are all simulations (such as encoded variants or anti-virus programs) working for an unspecified computer. Near the end, Reindog attempts to reveal that the Rift is currently inside a computer simulation before a giant mech piloted by a "Boy Genius", the simulation's creator, interrupts and demands they leave or face deletion. They defeat him and escape.
