Dexter is the titular protagonist of Dexter's Laboratory. He is a boy genius who spends his time secretly inventing machines and experimenting inside his massive underground laboratory below his house.

Dexter, while unseen, is implied to be piloting the Robo-Dexo 2000 in its Boss Fight during the Techno TerrorRift. Here he is simply referred to as "Boy Genius", with his textbox portrait being the Robo-Dexo 2000. His dialogue includes his strange inflections, like having the word simulation written out as "sim-u-lation".
These mentions seem to hint at Dexter becoming a playable character in the future. One is a code to "ask for Dexter" when Dexter is not in the game, and another is a code to "nerf all other fighters" when Dexter isn't OP.
