As a live-service game, MultiVersus consistently receives updates adding new Cosmetic Items to the game. This article will detail all publicly announced but currently-unreleased cosmetics.
Announcer Packs
- Announcer Pack Fern: An Announcer Pack for Fern. It was mistakenly revealed in-game thanks to a glitch which caused the Pack's voicelines to play whenever Fern purchased BMO in the Open Beta.
Banners
The CPU opponents that can sometime be encountered in Unranked queues and in Rifts can be seen sporting currently unreleased Banners. Below is a list of all unreleased Banners that have been spotted in-game:

Ringouts
Untitled gold reskin of Soothing Energy
Untitled Player First Games-based Ringout
- Ice King's Crown: A Ringout based on Ice King, the original main antagonist of Adventure Time, and his magic crown. It was accidently added briefly in the player's Ringout VFX collection tab from the Open Beta.
- Untitled Valentine's Day-themed Ringout: Original Ringout based around Valentine's Day, first seen in the Gameplay Trailer from 2022.
- Untitled gold reskin of Soothing Energy: Gold reskin of the Soothing Energy Ringout. It was accidently added in the player's Ringout VFX collection tab from the Offline Mode hiatus, being listed as LEGENDARY!. The Ringout is called "Vibrant Energy" inside the game's files.
- PFG Arrival: Original Ringout featuring Player First Games' mascot riding on a cloud. Its icon was accidently added in the player's Ringout VFX collection tab from the Offline Mode hiatus with the Common rarity, but when selected, its animation used to be the same as Default A's. The Ringout is called "PFG Arrival" inside the game's files.

Stickers
Three Stickers were present in the Closed Alpha as Battle Pass rewards. They have yet to be added in the full release of the game.
- Arya - Mad - Sticker based on Arya Stark making an angry expression. Originally revealed as the Tier 16 reward in the Premium Closed Alpha Battle Pass. Listed as UNCOMMON.
- Garnet - Cool - Sticker based on Garnet smiling. Originally revealed as the Tier 21 reward in the Free! Closed Alpha Battle Pass. Listed as RARE.
- Shaggy - Hungry - Sticker based on Shaggy making a hungry expression while holding a knife and a fork. Originally revealed as the Tier 24 reward in the Premium Closed Alpha Battle Pass. Listed as UNCOMMON.

- Jump Rope: A Taunt for Wonder Woman, first shown in the Closed Alpha, where it was listed as being Common. Her victory animation is based on it.
- Untitled Dance Taunt for Banana Guard: An untitled Taunt for Banana Guard, shown during his Gameplay Trailer.
- Untitled Dance Taunt for The Joker: An untitled Taunt for The Joker, shown during his gameplay trailer. It is based on the stairs dance scene from the 2019 film Joker.
- Untitled raspberry blowing Taunt for The Joker: An untitled Taunt for The Joker which depicts him blowing a raspberry, shown during his Gameplay Trailer.
- Untitled salute Taunt for Banana Guard: An untitled Taunt for Banana Guard which depicts him giving a military salute and accidently dropping his staff, shown in his Gameplay Trailer. His victory animation is based on it.
- Untitled Shake That Ass Bitch-based Taunt for Rick: A Taunt for Rick, shown off multiple times through various sources. It is based on the dance he does in the episode "Ricksy Business" to the song "Shake That Ass Bitch".

No One is an upcoming Variant for Arya Stark, first seen in the Gameplay Trailer from 2022.
Origin
This Variant is based on Arya's dress that she's seen wearing in "Winter Is Coming", the first episode of Game of Thrones.

Untitled Dr. Harleen Quinzel-based Variant for Harley Quinn
An upcoming Variant made for Harley Quinn based on her Dr. Harleen Quinzel persona, shown during The Joker's Gameplay Trailer.
Origin
This Variant is based on Harley Quinn's original identity of Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, the persona she uses while working as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum. The Variant's look seems to be largely based on Dr. Harleen's design from the Harley Quinn Max animated show.
Untitled Easter Bunny-based Variant for Reindog
An upcoming Easter-themed Variant made for Reindog, revealed via a promo for the "This Week in MultiVersus" Weekly Stats from the Open Beta.
Origin
An original Variant made for Reindog based on the Easter Bunny. His gem of power seems to be in the shape of an easter egg.
Untitled Robot-Arm-based Variant for Finn the Human
An upcoming Robot-Arm + Night Sword Variant for Finn the Human, first shown during the NHL hockey game.
Origin
This Variant is based on Finn's robotic right arm from Adventure Time's "Two Swords" episode, which he gained after having previously lost his original arm in the episode "Escape from the Citadel". The sword that he's wielding in this Variant, the Night Sword, originates from the "Marcy & Hunson" episode.

- The Night Sword can also be seen in the background artwork done for the Jason Vs Multiverse Rift.

Origin
This Variant is based on Tom & Jerry's cowboy attires from the 1950 Tom and Jerry short "Texas Tom".
Trivia
- Some now-removed screenshots from the official website revealed that this Variant originally lacked the stars from Tom's gloves.
- In the McDonald's collaboration, this outfit is included on a sticker sheet intended to be put over a card with Tom & Jerry on it.

Sunglasses Tom & Jerry
An original set of Variants that give Fighters sunglasses. They have been shown in various sources.
- Sunglasses Bugs Bunny can be seen on the Other tab from the Game Mode select screen.
- Sunglasses Jason Voorhees can be seen in the PvE Rifts Mode in select racing-themed Nodes.
- Sunglasses Shaggy was revealed in the MultiVersus - Launch Party Extravaganza feat. ELIMINATE music video.
- Due to a glitch, his Shark Hat Shaggy Variant will always give Shaggy the Sunglasses from this Variant before losing its first stock. This glitch also causes the Variant to have a unique entrance animation where Shaggy puts on his glasses, which is most likely meant to be used for this Variant.
- Sunglasses Tom & Jerry was accidently revealed via a glitch which caused Shark Hat Tom & Jerry's render to be the same as this one.
