The TV is an Item that could've been obtained and used in combat in MultiVersus.
The Item has been completely scrapped as of the full release of the game.
Origin
The TV is an original item created for the game based on a generic old American television. However, the two individual Assistants that it used to summon hailed from the Adventure Time Universe.
Function
When picked up and thrown, the TV used to summon a random character (known as 'Assistant') that used to help the player who threw them in combat. Each Assistant had a different behavioral pattern. Only two assistants were added during the Item's lifetime.

- Adventure Time
- Banana Guard - Runs back and forth across the Map for a short time, damaging opponents.
- N.E.P.T.R. - Follows the player who summoned him and throws pie projectiles.
Trivia
- During the Closed Alpha, the TV Item looked like a diamond with a question mark inside of it.
- Following the TV Item's retirement, the Banana Guard was upgraded to a full fighter, while N.E.P.T.R.'s attacks were repurposed for the Toasty battle allies during the "Help is here" Mutator in the PvE Rifts mode.
