Twitch is an American video live streaming service that focuses on video game live streaming, including broadcasts of esports competitions, in addition to offering music broadcasts, creative content, and "in real life" streams. It is operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.

The company has collaborated a ton with Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games in order to better promote and support MultiVersus.

Players can also livestream MultiVersus on Twitch by linking the game with their Muxy account.

Relation to MultiVersus

Official Twitch account

An official MultiVersus Twitch account was created and made public on November 18th, 2021, the same date as the game's reveal trailer was uploaded. This account is mainly used to stream official tournaments and moveset showcases for new characters. The official MultiVersus Twitch account can be seen here.

Twitch Drops

During the Open Beta's Early Access period, players who have not participated in the earlier Technical and Alpha Tests could get in the Early Access by watching MultiVersus streamers that had Twitch Drops enabled in order to get a code for the game.

The Twitch Drops would later return for the 48 Hour Scoobtober Twitch Livestream. This event featured Twitch Drops that rewarded viewers with one of the following items based on how much time they spend watching the stream:

Twitch Extension

The Twitch Extension is an extension made specifically for MultiVersus streamers that allows viewers to vote for the Fighter they think will win. The Extension also allows viewers to see what Game Mode, Map, Fighter, Variant, and Perks the players are using, as well as allowing them to join Streamer Queues and battle the stream's host.

To access this feature, the players must first link their WB Games account with their Twitch account (which will also reward them with 10 Toasts).

On October 29th, it was announced that the broadcast and its Twitch Drops would be exclusive to the North American region.[1] The stream and its Twitch Drops would later be locked to the United States due to legal reasons. For more information regarding the Twitch Drops, click here.
