Closed Alpha
Closed Alpha was a Season in MultiVersus reserved for the Alpha Test of the same name. This Season started on May 19th, 2022 and ended on May 27th, 2022.
Summary
The Closed Alpha was hosted in the U.S.A. and Europe regions. Unlike the previous Tech Tests, the Closed Alpha wasn't released under an NDA, which led to a huge influx of people making gameplay and discussion videos about the game. The Alpha featured the first in-game look at the Battle Pass and at certain Currency types, such as Gold and Toasts. The playable Fighter and Map roster remained the same as the one from the Tech Tests, with Taz from Looney Tunes joining the cast. The Alpha also included the exclusive Alpha Taz Profile Icon and the Alpha Tester Banner as rewards for players who made it halfway through the Battle Pass.
