Prestige is a type of Currency in MultiVersus.
Earning Method
Unlocked by simply obtaining Cosmetic Items, either by buying them in the Store or by unlocking them through Events and Battle Passes. Each cosmetic item the player acquires awards them the Cosmetic's Prestige currency value based on its type and rarity. Items of Common rarity (such as Fighters's default Variants and Taunts) do not award any Prestige currency.
An equivalent amount of Prestige currency was given out for the Open Beta players depending on how many Cosmetic Items they had acquired during that period.
