The Wicked Witch of the West is a character in MultiVersus: Collision Detected.
Origin
The Wicked Witch of the West is the main antagonist of the 1938 film The Wizard of Oz, as well as the 1900 novel it was adapted from: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. She is a nasty, green-skinned magic user who commands an army of flying monkeys. Throughout the movie, she attempts to kill Dorothy in order to get back the Ruby Slippers previously owned by her late sister, the Wicked Witch of the East. She follows Dorothy on her journey to the Emerald City, before being confronted by the girl and her friends in her own castle. She is accidentally killed by the group when they splash a bucket of water on her, which causes her to melt. The popularity and legacy of the film cemented the Wicked Witch of the West as a classic villain, and has been reimagined in countless other adaptations of the original story.
