May 30th, 2025: The game's online functionalities have been shut down. The game will remain playable offline for the foreseeable future for players who logged in during Season 5.
MultiVersus marks one of Kevin Conroy's last performances as Batman before his passing on November 10th, 2022.
As opposed to most of the other Fighters in the game, Jason Voorhees is entirely voiced by the "Menacing Sound Effects" used in his movies.
It should be noted that the majority of the game's cast (in English) are the original, current, or frequent voice talents of each respective character.
Prior to the full release, all characters from Rick and Morty used archival audio of Justin Roiland. Tom still does this for his screams performed by William Hanna.
Starting with January 21st, 2025, voiceover for languages other than English will no longer be provided. The reason for why this is the case is unknown.[1]
