The Iron Giant is a fictional Universe represented in MultiVersus.

Summary

The Iron Giant is a 1999 American animated sci-fi movie based on the 1968 novel The Iron Man, written by Ted Hughes, which also had a sequel that never got adapted into a movie, The Iron Woman. The movie centers around a young boy named Hogarth Hughes who discovers and befriends a giant alien robot during the Cold War. With the help of a beatnik artist named Dean McCoppin, Hogarth attempts to prevent the U.S. military and Kent Mansley, a paranoid federal agent, from finding and destroying the Giant.

Although the film's initial release bombed at the box-office, it has since then gained a cult status and has been acknowledged a ton more by Warner Bros. Discovery, making the Giant cameo in a lot of their modern IPs, not just in MultiVersus, but also in Ready Player One and Space Jam: A New Legacy.
