The Sandworms are a group of non-playable characters in MultiVersus.
Origin
The Sandworm is a type of creature from Saturn that appears in the Beetlejuice franchise. After previously encountering a sandworm, Barbara rides it back into their home in order to defeat Beetlejuice and send him back to the Netherworld.

Multiple Sandworms appear as enemies in certain Nodes from the PvE Rifts Mode.
- AS A FIGHTER ANIMATION EXTRA
A single Sandworm appears in Beetlejuice's losing animation.
- AS A MOVESET CHARACTER
A single Sandworm appears during some of Beetlejuice's attacks.
