The Gumball Guardians are a duo of non-playable characters in MultiVersus.
Origin
The Gumball Guardians are a duo of gigantic gumball machine robots created by Princess Bubblegum to act as the protectors of the Candy Kingdom and to enforce the Royal Promise.

Role in MultiVersus
- AS A BOSS
The Gumball Guardians appears as the Boss in the Hunter on the Trail Rift. Its Boss battle takes place on a modified Space Map, called "MAP_PVE_B002". It can only be damaged on its glass dome head. After a certain amount of damage is dealt, a second Gumball Guardian will spawn in. Dealing damage spawns gumballs that can be thrown at them for more damage.
Attacks
- Charges an electric field around its head.
- Fires two eye lasers.
- Slap that sends Fighters toward the blast zone.
- Stomps its foot at Fighters below it.
- Blows an icy tornado that will send Fighters upward.
- Fires a strange beam that creates a large, explosive ball.
- Blows a stream of fire across the map.
Strategy
As the climb up to the head can take a long time, its best to prevent yourself from falling or pick a character with good upward air mobility like Rick.
- AS A MAP EXTRA
One of the Gumball Guardians also appears in the background of both Candy Kingdom maps.
