"What’s in the box⁉️"

The "What's in the box?!?!" Community Challenge was an event that took place on the official MultiVersus Discord server between May 7th and May 8th, 2024.

Description

The event consisted of multiple members of the MultiVersus community working together in order to decipher a code based on 10 answers given on the "What’s in the box⁉️" channel from the game's official Discord server and unlock the insides of a purple present box, which turned out to be the reveal trailer for The Joker as a playable Fighter in the Full Launch.

Rules

Instructions for the Hunt:

- Go to "What’s in the box⁉️" Channel on our Official Discord.

- You will be provided with a CLUE.

- Work together to solve the CLUE.

- Enter your guesses into the chat with the following format (including the prefix) “//INPUT CODE: [your answer]”.

- Answers are not case sensitive.

- If correct, players will be notified and the next clue will populate at the top of the hour.

- Submissions will stop being accepted at 7 PM PT and resume at 9 AM PT.

- 10 Total Clues. Good luck! And trust us, it's worth it.

Trivia

• The "Scooby Doo Superman" answer comes from one of the tapes from the extended version of the Summer Break Superman reveal video which was posted on the game's official Instagram account.
• The "JINKIES!" answer comes from new captions added to the "MultiVersus - Jump Into the '90s Parody" trailer which was uploaded on August 26th, 2022.
• The "Fin & Jake Adventuring Incorporated" answer comes from the 03:59 minute mark of "Business Time", the eighth episode of the first season of Adventure Time.
• "The Daily Planet Office" answer comes from the set used in the Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman TV show from the New York Warner Bros. Studio lot (of which coordinates serve as the basis for its specific clue).
• The "Guzmo" answer comes from the "Super Gizmo!" video posted on the game's official Twitter account, which was originally titled "Super Guzmo!", seemingly as a typo.
• The "JUST LAUGH IT OFF" answer comes from the ninth panel of the fourth page of the Batman (Volume 3) #142 comic book (also known as "The Joker: Year One, Part One").
• The "Shenanigans" answer comes from the morse code which was communicated via the red blinking light seen on the TV from the Reunited Garnet and Mad Cause You're Single reveal video.
• The "Where are we?" answer comes from a quote said by Arya Stark in the third episode of the fourth season of Game of Thrones, "Breaker of Chains".
• The 9th clue is the only clue to not follow the rules set forth for all the other clues, as it was solved by emoting with the server's custom Toast emoji as opposed to using the "//INPUT CODE:" command.
• The "Arkham Asylum" answer was in reference to the Arkham Asylum: Living Hell series of comics which were illustrated by Dan Slott.
